Many of Germany’s larger cities offer accommodations in municipal housing. You can usually get an overview at a city’s main train station, at the border crossing, or at the airport where you arrived.

In Berlin, you can find assistance at the Central Arrival Center, located at the former Tegel Airport.
In Hamburg, you can go to the Initial Reception Centre or the Bureau of Migration for assistance.
When you reach Munich, the Munich Volunteers Association will help you find your first accommodation.

Don’t worry! There will be a place for you to stay upon arriving at the border or at a train station! Then, later on, all municipalities will assist you in finding a room or apartment.
